About The Ride

Now in it's 15th year, the Bristol to Bordeaux Cycle Challenge is acclaimed as one of the UK's top charity bike rides.  For 2025 we are ready to deliver an event that promises to be bigger, brighter and better than ever!

Departing Bristol on Wednesday 9th July the ride takes in 500 miles of the finest cycling routes that the UK and France can offer, before arriving in Bordeaux on Saturday 12th July.

Riders on the B2B can choose between 2 routes, the 500 miles, door to door 'Extreme', or the 300 miles 'Classic'.

The ride is fully supported, with regular feed stations, fully trained medics, physios and bike mechanics, and transport of all bags between each overnight hotel stop.

All you need to do is turn up and enjoy the ride!

The primary aim of the ride, apart from having an amazing experience, is to raise much needed funds for PROPS.

PROPS is a special needs charity based in Bristol and is reliant on the money raised through fundraising.

As a condition of participation in the bike ride, we ask each rider to raise a minimum of £1,000 sponsorship.

Because all costs are met by the riders themselves, we can guarantee every penny raised goes to the charity and is spent on their incredible work with young people.
