The Epic
To celebrate the 10th running of the Bristol to Bordeaux Cycle Challenge, PROPS are looking to do something a bit special, which will provide a unique and challenging event for both past and present riders.

We are offering riders of B2B 2018 the opportunity to ride from Bristol to a summit finish on one of cycling’s most iconic climbs in 6 days.
The Bristol to Bordeaux cycle challenge, is a 500 mile, door to door in 4 days. PROPS have run this format for many years, it’s fully supported and signed.
The additional 2 days from Bordeaux to the Col du Tourmalet will provide an even greater challenge and is aimed at the more experienced rider. 6 days cycling at these distances is not for the faint hearted!
Support for the additional 2 days will be at a reduced level, so riders will need a GPS with the route already downloaded – there will be water/feed stops and a broom wagon.

Please note we are limiting spaces on the Epic to just 30 riders.

We are not going to sugarcoat it, the B2B 2018 Epic route is going to be tough ... very tough.
700 miles in six days, including the full climb of the Tourmalet.
Here in numbers is the challenge that lies ahead:

As an indication, this is more than some of the pro-level tours and very back-loaded.
